As part of the strategic training and environmental education plan that Agrocaribe implements for its workers, this month 96 employees from administration, management, maintenance, laboratory and palm oil mill -Extractora del Atlántico- were trained on the Rainforest Alliance certification for the conservation of the environment.
This certification rests on three sustainable pillars: environmental protection, social equity and economic viability.
During the workshop, the employees had space to comment about the work they do and how they help care for the environment; they focused on creating awareness on environmental care, the importance of recycling at work and committed to continue implementing ongoing improvement.
