Agrocaribe and Extractora del Atlántico donated desks to the schools of the communities of Tenedores Campamento, Sinaí, Buenos Aires and Media Luna from Morales and Puerto Barrios, Izabal.
The schools didn't have any furniture for the children to receive classes in adequate conditions. They also contributed with building material to repair the damages of the facilities.
Agrocaribe and Extractora del Atlántico have responded very well to the needs of the community, with the aim of giving them the opportunity to have better conditions in the schools for the academic training of children.
School principals and teachers showed their gratitude:
“Thank you very much for the desks that will help us so that the children have better classrooms to learn in, thank you for caring for the communities”.
“Thank you for your help, we need to rebuild the roof to be able to hold school activities, on behalf of the parents, teachers and the community of Media Luna, thank you”.
