Agrocaribe talks to the communities of Puerto Barrios and Morales, Izabal

Agrocaribe met the community leaders of Puerto Barrios and Morales, Izabal, with the objective of talking with them to give company information and find out about community projects.


At a breakfast organized by Agrocaribe, the mission, vision and company values, its products, palm oil mills, clean energy and social responsibility projects for the workers, the communities and the environment were disclosed. Also, the projects in which each community is working were discussed, with the aim of knowing their initiatives and exchange ideas.

Representatives from the following communities of the municipality of Puerto Barrios participated: Milla 10, Jimeritos, Entre Ríos, Piteros, Suiche III, El Cinchado, Media Luna, San Francisco Vuelta Grande, Las Vegas, Placa I, Manacas, and Quetzalito. From Morales it was attended by representatives of: Champona Línea, Champona Inta, Buena Vista, Cayuga, Campamento Tenedores, Sinaí, Tenedores Línea and Punta de Rieles. Forty community leaders attended from the two municipalities.
